DebateIdeas is a platform that allows users to stress-test their ideas through simulated debates with AI-powered expert personas. The service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses based on expert profiles and user-provided context.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: The expert personas and their responses are AI-generated simulations. They do not represent the actual views, opinions, or endorsements of any real individuals. The AI attempts to simulate how an expert might respond based on publicly available information, but responses should not be considered as actual expert advice.

You should not rely solely on AI-generated debates for making important business, legal, medical, or financial decisions. Always consult with qualified professionals for such matters.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscription and Payments

DebateIdeas offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free users are limited to 10 debates per month, and all debates are publicly visible. Pro subscribers ($19/month) have unlimited debates and can make debates private.

Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

6. Public Debates

Free tier debates are public by default and may be viewed by anyone. By using the free tier, you consent to your debate content being publicly accessible. Do not include sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information in public debates.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DebateIdeas to:

• Generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Impersonate real individuals in a misleading way
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Use the service for spam or unauthorized commercial purposes

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you create and submit to DebateIdeas. By using our service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

DebateIdeas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated content.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
